Great to meet you!

Great to meet you!

If you're carrying grief, trauma, or anxiety that feels too heavy to name, you're in the right place. I'm a bilingual, Spanish-speaking LPC with 9 years of experience supporting adults and seniors through anxiety, depression, PTSD, loss, and the complexity of navigating life across multiple cultural worlds. I work with people who carry a lot, bringing both professional training and genuine understanding to that work. My work with trauma and grief is deeply meaningful to me, both professionally and personally, as I have experienced the impact of loss, adversity, and cultural challenges. My sessions are offered entirely through Telehealth across Texas, so wherever you are in the state, support is within reach.

My approach to therapy

Our work together is shaped around you, not a formula. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Somatic therapy, choosing approaches based on what fits how you are processing and what you're navigating. Somatic work means we pay attention to what your body is holding, not just what your mind is saying. ACT helps you move toward what matters most even when anxiety or pain is present. Sessions are collaborative and grounded in your strengths. I'll challenge you when it's useful and hold space when that's what you need. I'll help you understand yourself better, build coping skills that hold up under real pressure, and create patterns that support the life you actually want.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what brings you in, what you’ve been carrying, and what you’re hoping to get out of the process. I’ll ask questions to understand your background, your strengths, and where you’d like support. You don’t need to have everything figured out before we begin. Depending on what you’re navigating, we may also begin exploring tools together—such as practicing a grounding technique, working through a thought pattern using CBT, or gently noticing what your body may be holding through somatic approaches. By the end of our first conversation, we’ll have a sense of your priorities and a clear direction for the work ahead.
