Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Aracely Cummings, a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker, experienced psychotherapist, and dedicated advocate for the individuals and families I serve.

I specialize in helping individuals and young adults heal from trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship wounds so they can reconnect with themselves, restore their inner strength, and thrive. I believe that healing begins in a safe, supportive space where your story is honored, and your growth is nurtured.

I provide compassionate, individualized therapy using a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, play therapy, and other integrative modalities. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where each person’s healing journey is honored and guided with care.

My professional experience includes working in diverse and high-impact settings: Psychiatric hospitals, where I supported children and adolescents through acute mental health crises. Refugee centers, where I provided culturally responsive care to children and adolescents navigating displacement, trauma, and resettlement challenges. School-based mental health services, where I offered ongoing support to students dealing with behavioral, emotional, and academic stressors within the educational system.

My approach to therapy

In my clinical work, I draw from a wide range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches to create a treatment plan that’s tailored to your unique needs and experiences. These include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help reframe unhelpful thought patterns, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to process trauma, and play therapy to support emotional expression, especially in children. I also incorporate a variety of other integrative modalities to ensure a holistic, client-centered approach.

What you can expect from me

You don’t have to carry this alone!

Whether you're seeking to process difficult past experiences, manage current emotional distress, or build healthier relationships, I am here to walk alongside you in your healing journey. Together, we’ll work to restore a sense of peace, empowerment, and connection in your life.
