Great to meet you!
Hi, I’m Aracely Cummings, a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker, experienced psychotherapist, and dedicated advocate for the individuals and families I serve.
I specialize in helping individuals and young adults heal from trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship wounds so they can reconnect with themselves, restore their inner strength, and thrive. I believe that healing begins in a safe, supportive space where your story is honored, and your growth is nurtured.
I provide compassionate, individualized therapy using a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, play therapy, and other integrative modalities. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where each person’s healing journey is honored and guided with care.
My professional experience includes working in diverse and high-impact settings: Psychiatric hospitals, where I supported children and adolescents through acute mental health crises. Refugee centers, where I provided culturally responsive care to children and adolescents navigating displacement, trauma, and resettlement challenges. School-based mental health services, where I offered ongoing support to students dealing with behavioral, emotional, and academic stressors within the educational system.
