Great to meet you!

Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Aracely “Shelly” Hernandez, and I believe that seeking support is one of the most courageous steps a person can take. Whether you're navigating a difficult season or simply looking for greater clarity and balance, you don't have to face it alone.

My journey into counseling psychology was inspired by a deep belief in the healing power of compassion, authentic connection, and personal growth. With a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology and years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families, I am committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered.

I don't believe therapy is about having all the answers. Rather, it's about working together to uncover your strengths, gain new perspectives, and develop the tools needed to overcome life's challenges. Every person's story is unique, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they move toward healing, resilience, and lasting change.

Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, trauma, grief, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, I provide a compassionate, culturally sensitive, and nonjudgmental space where your experiences are valued and your goals matter.

I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward healing, hope, and a more fulfilling life. You don't have to do it alone, we'll take the next step together.

My approach to therapy

Every person's story is unique, and I approach each client with compassion, curiosity, empathy, and respect. I believe therapy is a collaborative process where healing, growth, and lasting change happen through a trusting therapeutic relationship.

My goal is not only to help you navigate life's challenges but also to empower you to build resilience, gain insight, and create meaningful, lasting transformation. Using evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to your individual needs, I help clients develop healthier thought patterns, strengthen emotional well-being, and adopt new perspectives and behaviors that support their personal goals.

Together, we will work toward identifying your strengths, overcoming obstacles, and creating a life that reflects your values, purpose, and the future you envision for yourself. Whether you are seeking relief from anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, or life transitions, I am committed to providing a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can heal, grow, and thrive.

What you can expect from me

No matter where you are in your journey or what challenges you may be facing, you can expect a compassionate, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, valued, and understood. My goal is to work alongside you to help you gain insight, build on your strengths, and develop the tools needed to create meaningful and lasting change.

Together, we will identify your goals, navigate life's challenges, and work toward a life that aligns with your values, brings greater purpose, and supports your overall well-being.

Thank you for considering me as part of your healing journey. It is truly a privilege to walk alongside my clients, and I would be honored to support you whenever you're ready to take the next step.
