Great to meet you!

If you are an adolescent, adult, or older adult navigating a major life transition, carrying the heavy weight of anxiety, or simply feeling burnt out from trying to hold it all together, you don't have to figure it all out alone. When you sit down with me, my hope is that you immediately feel like you can finally exhale. I believe real growth happens when you feel truly seen and understood. My approach is grounded, genuine, and centered on what matters most to you, blending different therapeutic tools so we can fit your unique needs rather than a rigid formula. Together, we'll take a compassionate look at where you are and thoughtfully build a path toward where you want to be, moving at a pace that feels safe, warm, and entirely your own.

My approach to therapy

My approach brings clear, steady consistency to your healing journey by pairing evidence-based care with a structured, predictable session flow. Every session begins with a gentle check-in and mindfulness exercise to help you set aside daily distractions and ground your nervous system. From there, we’ll move intentionally into the work that best fits your goals for the day:

  • CBT: We’ll actively examine recent stressors, using cognitive reframing tools to untangle anxious thoughts and build practical coping strategies.
  • EMDR: We’ll guide you through structured bilateral stimulation (such as eye movements or tapping) to safely reprocess traumatic memories and ease their physical toll on your body.
  • EFIT: We’ll pause to track deep emotional shifts, exploring attachment patterns and underlying feelings to help you build inner safety and self-compassion.

Before we finish, we’ll always wrap up with a closing grounding exercise and a clear takeaway, ensuring you leave each session feeling balanced, supported, and clear on your next steps.

What you can expect from me

What to Expect in Your First Session

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, so your first session is designed to be low-pressure, gentle, and welcoming. We’ll use our initial 50 minutes to get comfortable with each other and begin building a clear picture of how I can best support you.

Here is what our first time together typically looks like:

  • Settling In: We’ll start with a short grounding moment to help you settle into the space and ease any initial nerves.
  • Sharing Your Story: At a pace that feels comfortable for you, we’ll discuss what brings you to therapy, what you’re currently navigating, and a brief overview of your background.
  • Setting Your Goals: We’ll talk about what you hope to gain from our time together—whether that’s managing anxiety, processing past experiences, or navigating a life transition.
  • Mapping the Path Forward: Before we wrap up, we’ll discuss how my methods (CBT, EMDR, EFIT, and mindfulness) can fit your specific goals, answering any questions you have so you leave feeling clear and confident about our next steps.
