Great to meet you!

I work primarily with adults and young adults navigating anxiety, relationship concerns, self-esteem, trauma, and challenging life transitions. I have extensive experience supporting women through difficult seasons of life and helping clients better understand themselves, their relationships, and the patterns that may be keeping them stuck.

I know that reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable, and I believe finding a therapist you genuinely feel comfortable with matters. I strive to create a space that feels warm, approachable, and free of judgment, where you can show up exactly as you are. I am also trained in EMDR and have experience supporting clients in processing trauma and difficult past experiences that continue to impact their lives today.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and individualized. I don't believe therapy should feel one-size-fits-all, so we'll work together to understand what you need and find an approach that feels meaningful and useful to you. I want our sessions to be a space where you feel supported and understood, while also feeling comfortable enough to be challenged when it can help you grow.

My work is client-centered, strengths-based, and attachment-informed, and I draw from EMDR, CBT, motivational interviewing, and DBT interpersonal effectiveness skills depending on your needs and goals. Together, we'll look beyond what's happening on the surface to better understand the experiences, relationships, beliefs, and patterns that may be influencing how you feel and respond today.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is really about getting to know each other. I'll invite you to share what brought you to therapy, what has been going on in your life, and what you're hoping might feel different as a result of our work together. We'll also talk about some of your history, relationships, strengths, and experiences so I can begin to understand you as a whole person—not just the concerns that brought you in.

You don't need to come prepared with the perfect explanation of what you're feeling or know exactly what your goals are. We'll figure that out together. You're also welcome to ask questions and share what has or hasn't worked for you in therapy before. Most importantly, I want our first session to help you feel heard, comfortable, and hopeful about the work we'll do together.
