Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Arasha, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over seven years of experience. I aim to provide a safe space to hold and help you explore emotions, thoughts, and difficulties. I believe in the importance of using somatic approaches to help you build self-awareness and cultivate a deeper connection between your mind and body.

My approach to therapy

I understand that therapy can be a difficult place for expression and a process that takes time and patience. I offer a warm, safe, and non-judgmental environment where you can explore your unique experiences and perspectives. I use an eclectic approach that draws from many therapeutic styles and techniques. I always provide trauma-informed, social-justice-oriented practices and use existential, humanistic, psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and dance movement therapy modalities.

What you can expect from me

As your therapist, I work on creating a culture of feedback to help strengthen the therapeutic relationship. This process helps build a solid foundation for the therapeutic process, establishes trust, and promotes your autonomy as you take an active role in your healing process. We will work collaboratively to identify the challenges to address, create realistic expectations, and develop an outline for your desired outcomes.
