Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Registered Play Therapist who works with young children and their caregivers. I specialize in supporting children with big emotions, anxiety, and behavior challenges using a relationship-based, play-centered approach. I work closely with parents throughout the process so you feel confident supporting your child at home—not just during sessions. My goal is to create a warm, supportive space where both you and your child feel understood and supported.

My approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in play therapy and early relational health, which means I focus on strengthening the connection between you and your child while supporting emotional regulation and behavior. Rather than focusing only on behavior, I help uncover what’s underneath—such as overwhelm, anxiety, or difficulty expressing emotions.

I involve parents throughout the process, offering guidance and practical tools so you can respond to your child in ways that feel calm, connected, and effective at home. Therapy is not a quick fix, but a collaborative process that leads to meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and better understand your concerns, your child’s needs, and your goals for therapy. We’ll talk about what you’ve been noticing, what’s been challenging, and what you’re hoping will feel different.

You can expect a warm, non-judgmental space where you feel heard and supported. I’ll also begin sharing how I approach therapy and what next steps might look like so you leave with a clearer sense of direction and support.
