Great to meet you!

As a therapist, I'm naturally solution-focused, but I also know that lasting change doesn't happen by rushing past the hard stuff. I like to find a balance between processing and problem-solving. Sometimes that means helping clients unpack what's been weighing on them, make sense of their experiences, or connect the dots between past and present. Other times, it means rolling up our sleeves and figuring out what practical steps they can take to start feeling better and moving forward.

I don't believe therapy should be a place where you come in week after week and just talk without seeing any growth. At the same time, I don't believe in jumping straight to solutions before someone has had the opportunity to feel heard and understood. My goal is to help clients gain insight, build skills, and make meaningful changes while honoring where they are in the process.

I tend to be warm, down-to-earth, and genuine in my approach. I want clients to feel comfortable bringing their whole selves into the room—the messy parts, the uncertain parts, and the parts they're still trying to figure out. I believe some of the best work happens when people feel safe enough to be honest and supported enough to take risks.

Above all, I see therapy as a partnership. You are the expert on your life, and I'm here to help you make sense of what you're experiencing, recognize your strengths, and find a path forward that feels authentic and sustainable for you.

My approach to therapy

As a therapist, I strive to balance processing with practical problem-solving. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences while also developing concrete tools to navigate life's challenges. I believe therapy should be both healing and productive—helping clients gain insight into patterns that may be keeping them stuck while identifying meaningful steps toward growth and change. My approach is collaborative, authentic, and strengths-based, and I work alongside clients to help them build resilience, improve coping skills, and create lives that feel more aligned with their values and goals.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a foundation for our work together. We'll spend time talking about what brings you to therapy, the challenges you're currently facing, and what you hope to gain from the therapeutic process.

We'll also explore your strengths, support systems, coping skills, and past experiences to better understand the full picture of who you are—not just the difficulties you're experiencing. Together, we'll discuss your needs, identify goals that are meaningful to you, and begin creating a plan to help you move toward those goals.

Most importantly, the first session is a chance for you to ask questions, share what feels comfortable, and determine whether our therapeutic relationship feels like a good fit. My goal is to provide a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to begin your journey toward growth and healing.
