Great to meet you!

I offer a calm, kind space and practical tools you can use right away. We’ll make sense of what’s going on—your thoughts, feelings, habits, and triggers—and turn that clarity into simple skills for calming your body, focusing your mind, setting healthy boundaries, and communicating more clearly. I’m bilingual (English–Spanish), provide trauma-informed care, and meet with you through a secure online video visit anywhere in Florida. From the start, you’ll have a clear plan with small weekly steps and steady support, so you’re never guessing about what to do next.

I help with anxiety, panic, stress, trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, grief, burnout, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder and learning challenges, low self-esteem, anger, sleep issues, addictions and habit change, relationship conflict, codependency, life transitions, immigration and acculturation stress, and parenting or teen challenges. Clients often notice calmer reactions and quicker recovery, clearer boundaries and safer relationships, better focus and follow-through, and kinder self-talk with a steadier mood—opening the door to more peace, more joy, and a life that truly feels like yours.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, kind, practical—and very explicit and concrete. We slow things down, make sense of your thoughts, feelings, habits, and triggers, then turn that clarity into step-by-step tools you can use right away. I am bilingual (English–Spanish), provide trauma-informed and culturally responsive care, and meet by secure online video anywhere in Florida. I am collaborative and direct: you will know what we are doing and why, and each step will fit your values and real life. My twenty years as a teacher make me a clear, effective transmitter of knowledge, and my own history of trauma and abuse deepens my empathy and focus on safety.

I have a strong focus on people who feel emotions “all the way up,” fear being abandoned, or ride relationship storms—often called borderline personality disorder—helping you find steadiness, self-respect, and secure connections. I also help with anxiety, panic, depression, grief, burnout, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder and learning challenges, low self-esteem, anger, sleep issues, addictions and habit change, life transitions, immigration and acculturation stress, and parenting or teen challenges. My goal is more calm, more choice, and more of the peace and joy that make life truly yours.

What you can expect from me

Session one includes brief assessments in the first 15 minutes, then your story, strengths, and what you want to change. Follow-up session finishes the assessment and builds a clear treatment plan with plain-language goals and small weekly steps. From there, we blend learning and practice: thought-and-behavior tools, emotion regulation, calming your nervous system, tolerating distress without melting down or going numb, communication and boundary scripts, values-based action, and gentle work with stuck trauma beliefs.
