Great to meet you!

I am a child of immigrant parents, I understand the complexities of societal prejudices, cultural expectations, and family-of-origin issues. This drives my passion for creating culturally informed connections within the BIPOC and mental health communities. Additionally, I am dedicated to helping BIPOC individuals in the LGBTQ+ community process the intricate dynamics of both their identities.

On a personal level. Outside the office, I enjoy hiking, attending sports games, discussing my latest show obsession, reading, and spending quality time with friends and family.

My approach to therapy

For the past four to five years, my practice has focused on helping individuals reconnect with their "core" selves, empowering them to gain confidence. We will collaborate to understand how events and relationships have impacted your brain chemistry and influenced your internal narratives about yourself and others. Together, we will practice skills that enhance your somatic (body) and emotional language, enabling you to access emotional regulation quickly. This process will help you build autonomy and resilience for present and future challenges.

What you can expect from me

In our trauma-informed work together, you’ll feel supported in exploring your story at your own pace. You’ll walk away with tools for healing, greater self-compassion, and a stronger connection to your inner resilience.
