Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Substance Abuse Counselor with years of experience helping individuals become the best versions of themselves. I specialize in working with those seeking recovery from addiction, however I readily enjoy and have a long history of supporting African American adults who struggle with their self-esteem, are looking to overcome past traumas, and want to develop healthier relationships with themselves and others.

My approach to therapy

I use a client-centered approach to counseling. I believe everyone has the tools within themselves to resolve whatever it is they are facing; my role is to guide them to look internally to find and develop them. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I help individuals make connections between what they think, how they feel, and how they behave. My process includes assisting clients with finding solutions to their problems and building on their innate qualities and strengths.

What you can expect from me

My main objective is to help individuals develop the tools necessary to live the most fulfilling lives they can. Clients can expect to feel heard, seen, and supported in their journey to emotional and psychological wellness.
