Great to meet you!

Hi! I’m so happy that you are here. I am a licensed clinical social worker who strives to support clients in their own journey of understanding who they are and how to navigate their own lives. I have experience working with folks who have a substance use disorder and looking for support in their recovery. I primarily work with adults with an anxiety disorder, depression disorder or past experience of being incarcerated.

My approach to therapy

I am a firm believer of the client taking charge of their own goals while I support them making decisions to achieve those goals. I have different modalities of therapy I use in order to make a specific treatment plan that is different from client to client. The therapeutic space with me is often the first time a client feels comfortable being vulnerable and I strive for it to be a welcoming feeling for all.

What you can expect from me

It is important for me to gather all background info you would like to share in the first session so I can get a sense of who you are. I make sure that expectations are clear from the first session so that you feel heard and comfortable. I invite all questions and concerns someone may have about therapy especially in the first session so that I can continue to shape the experience of therapy to be inviting.
