Great to meet you!

Therapy works best when you feel genuinely heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), my approach is warm, open-minded, and deeply supportive. I bring a culturally informed lens to every session, recognizing how unique backgrounds, identity, and lived experiences shape the way we navigate the world. I believe support and personal growth don't have to feel rigid or heavy all the time—a bit of humor, warmth, and real human connection go a long way. Together, we’ll work in an empowering space where you can explore challenges, discover your strengths, and create meaningful, lasting change on your terms.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is never 'one-size-fits-all.' My clinical approach is integrative and intentionally tailored to your specific goals, values, and cultural background. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person-Centered Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and mindfulness-based practices, we will collaborate to find the tools and frameworks that feel most natural and effective for you. Together, we’ll build an therapeutic space that honors your identity and supports your path toward meaningful and lasting growth.

What you can expect from me

In our first two sessions, we will focus on building a strong foundation and establishing a clear baseline to support your therapeutic journey. During this intake phase, we will utilize structured assessments, questionnaires, and open conversation to thoroughly understand your personal history, current challenges, and unique goals, while taking time to understand the relevance of culture in your treatment and everyday life. Establishing this initial baseline is essential, as it provides a meaningful reference point that allows us to track your progress over time, celebrate your growth, and adapt our approach to stay aligned with what you truly need.

Throughout this process and beyond, therapy will always move entirely at your pace. Healing is not a race, and you are never expected to share more than you feel ready to navigate. My role as your therapist is to serve as a steady guide—offering compassionate support, objective insights, and evidence-based tools to help you grow as efficiently and safely as possible within a warm, culturally responsive, and empowering environment
