I am a Florida native who graduated from the University of Florida with a dual specialist and master's degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2011. Following my graduate degree, I served two years in the Peace Corps. I've been licensed since 2016 and currently have an office in Jacksonville, Florida in the Riverside neighborhood (Mondays, Wednesday-Friday). I also offer telehealth services. I draw from a variety of counseling theories and techniques including person-centered, EMDR, cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness techniques. I like to think of approach as being relational and empowering.
My approach in the therapeutic process is one that supports and guides you to gain greater understanding of yourself and your relationships. During the first session, we will explore your reasons for coming to therapy, set goals and discuss your expectations for the process.
