I’m Dr. Arica Austin, a licensed clinical Psychologist- here to guide you through life’s most complex and difficult matters. I truly care about my patients’ well-being and I go above and beyond to help them through all their obstacles! I believe that therapy should be a collaborative effort and I want to make sure you are receiving the care that best fits your needs.
I treat children, adolescences and young adults from the ages of 5- 25. I provide a number of specialized therapeutic services to those dealing with challenging life experiences. I use a combination of Culturally-Sensitive Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive-Behavior Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy, and Play Therapy. I also specialize in anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, and family conflict.
I always start with an introductory session, where you’ll have the opportunity to share information about yourself and what you hope to achieve in therapy. I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable, while also feeling secure. From there, we’ll work together in the sessions that follow to make these goals a reality for you.
