Great to meet you!

Hello! I'm Ariel Brown and have been licensed as a social worker for 9 years. In my career, I have worked with substance abuse issues, couples, families, adolescents, military/veterans, and women's issues. I have a Master's of Social Work and have been trained in the areas of trauma, substance use, and mental health disorders including Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar disorder, Grief, Couples Issues, and Trauma.

My approach to therapy

My focus is to meet my clients where they are. I have an eclectic talk therapy approach with a foundational basis of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, including aspects of Motivational Interviewing, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused therapy that are used as evidenced-based supports to help clients manage problem areas holistically and authentically.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a collaborative environment where we will work together to understand and manage problem areas in an individualized and collaborative space. My goals for my clients include self-empowerment, understanding and detaching from negative thinking patterns, skill building to manage triggers and stressors, and increasing overall functioning and self-worth.
