Great to meet you!

Hi! My name is Ariel Scherer, LCSW. I am so glad that you are here. That first step is always the hardest, but you will soon find out how needed it is. With over seven years of experience, I specialize in empowering individuals of all ages in navigating challenges such as depression, anxiety, grief and loss, child trauma, and life adjustments.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I believe in a client centered approach. This is your journey, and you should be in the driver seat. I am a firm believer that we already know what we want and need, we just need some guidance along the way. I will be here to help you navigate your journey, be an encourager and challenge you.

What you can expect from our first session

Our first session is an introduction to one another and an opportunity for you to share your story. I believe in creating a warm and inviting environment to develop trust between one another. I will gather more information about you, your history and goals for the future. We will then work together to develop a plan to help you reach them! You are not alone in this journey!
