Great to meet you!

I’m Ariel Taylor, LICSW, a clinical social worker who has been providing therapy in outpatient community mental health since 2022, with additional experience in clinical supervision. I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, relationship concerns, life transitions, and self-esteem. I aim to provide a space where clients feel comfortable, respected, and supported as they work toward meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I help clients better understand patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and relationships while also building practical skills they can use outside of therapy. I tailor our work to each person’s needs and goals, balancing reflection and insight with concrete steps toward change.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect the first session to feel conversational and low-pressure. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’d like support with, and what feels most important to focus on right now. I’ll also ask some background questions so I can understand the bigger picture, but there’s no expectation that you share everything at once. By the end of the session, we’ll have a clearer sense of your goals and what working together might look like.
