Great to meet you!

I have over 20 years of experience in the mental health field and have been licensed as a professional counselor since 2015. I have worked with a range of ages from young adolescents to adults. I have served clients in community, residential, and correctional settings. I currently work with adults, age 18+. I specialize in depression, anxiety, trauma, chronic stress, and life transitions. I create a safe space for reflection, self-awareness, self love and growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach to counseling is always strength-based and person-focused. You are the expert in session. You have the answers to make your life better. I am the compass that helps guide you back to your inner knowing.

I use Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) primarily in session. I work from a trauma informed lens always.

What you can expect from me

An intake and assessment happens first. This is when I gather historical information about you and start to develop your treatment plan. Then in session you can expect me to guide you in exploring your emotions and thoughts, and the aspects of life you’d like to change. I seek to give my clients what they feel they need in session. My clients are ready for action in their change process and use my therapeutic support to realize their best selves.
