Great to meet you!

My approach is tailored to the whole person. Drawing on extensive training in both medicine and integrative thinking, I seek to understand emotional difficulties within the broader context of an individual's life, health, relationships, and culture.

As a physician, I often use psychotherapy to help people struggling with mood, anxiety difficulties. I bring the same rigor and curiosity to understanding all forms of suffering, carefully considering the medical, psychological, social, and environmental factors that may contribute to emotional distress.

My approach to therapy

I approach each patient as an individual, tailoring treatment to their unique needs and circumstances, with careful listening at the center of my work. I often work with adults interested in combining psychological insight with practical change with or without psychiatric medications.

What you can expect from me

In our first consultation, I’ll ask about what brings you in now, your past experiences with treatment, and what you hope might be different. Sometimes a consultation leads to an ongoing working relationship; other times, it simply provides a helpful point of contact where new perspectives emerge. Any treatment plan or next steps will always be discussed and mutually agreed upon before we proceed.
