Great to meet you!

Please take a moment to thank yourself for taking a step toward clarity and healing. It is a journey and you are worth it!

Hi, I’m Arlene and I am a Haitian-American born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. am passionate about empowering and educating others to be their best selves. My clinical expertise includes, but is not limited to grief, multicultural issues, anxiety, self-esteem/worth, interpersonal trauma/relationships, and adjustment concerns. I have worked in a variety of settings including community mental health, higher education, and private practice. I use an integrative approach that incorporates a variety of orientations including multicultural therapy, CBT, CPT, DBT, and solution-focused approaches.

Therapy is not a one size fits all approach and we will work collaboratively to establish goals and curate a treatment plan that serves you. Are you ready for a change or curious to experience a space that is solely focused on you? Do you need empathy and accountability? Even if you are not sure about what this space could be or your needs, we will work through it together.

My approach to therapy

Taking the first step toward healing can feel daunting, which is why I work to create a space that feels open and affirming. I approach therapy as a collaborative process, one where we build a relationship that centers your needs, goals, and full identity. I also believe it’s important to demystify therapy, helping you understand how to use the space effectively so that it truly works for you.

Rooted in a person-in-environment perspective, our work will explore how different areas of your life including wellness choices, relationships, work, culture, identity, and environment interact and shape your experience. I aim to support you not just in functioning, but in thriving.

While we will navigate difficult and meaningful topics, I will bring humor and lightness into the space when appropriate. Healing isn’t linear, and not every session needs to feel heavy for it to be impactful.

What you can expect from me

Together, we work toward greater insight, radical self-acceptance, and tapping into the inner resources needed to navigate life with confidence.
