Hello, my name is Armida Valencia and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Texas working statewide via telehealth. I work with children, individuals, couples and families. I specialize in trauma, anxiety and mood disorders. I use a variety of treatment modalities such as CBT, DBT, Trauma Informed and Reality Therapy to help patients achieve their mental health goals and feel better.

My therapeutic style and approach varies depending on the client's treatment goals and what works best for them. I use the modality that best suits the client's needs. I also like to implement a cultural approach when needed, for clients needing cultural validation.
