Great to meet you!
I am a Mental Health Counsellor educated at the University of Massachusetts, with more than 20 years of experience as a healthcare professional in my home country. This extensive professional background has given me a deep understanding of the many factors that can affect emotional well-being, relationships, and overall quality of life.
I work with adults, couples, and families, and I believe therapy should be a safe, respectful, and collaborative space where clients feel heard and understood. I tailor my approach to each person’s individual needs, experiences, strengths, and goals.
My therapeutic work draws from evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and EMDR. I integrate these approaches thoughtfully to help clients better understand their emotions and patterns, build effective coping strategies, strengthen relationships, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.
I believe that seeking therapy is a sign of strength and an important step toward greater self-awareness and well-being. My goal is to support each client with compassion, respect, and practical tools as they move toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.
