Great to meet you!

Taking the first step toward therapy is a brave decision, and I believe you deserve a space that honors that courage. I'm Arsahy, a Licensed Professional Counselor. I'm glad you're here!

My mission is to provide a warm, non-judgmental environment where you can feel truly seen and supported.

I bring extensive experience working with individuals navigating the complexities of anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and PTSD. I am also deeply practiced in supporting those moving through grief and chronic pain—specialized areas where I provide the tools and perspective necessary to help you reclaim your sense of self.

While I have deep expertise in these areas, I am here for anyone feeling "stuck" or overwhelmed by life’s transitions. Whether you are facing a major life crisis or simply need a safe place to process daily stress, I welcome you exactly as you are. My practice is built on the belief that no struggle is too big or too small to merit professional support. You don't have to navigate these obstacles alone; I am here to provide the steady, confident guidance you deserve.

My approach to therapy

I utilize an eclectic and collaborative approach to therapy, grounded in the belief that your treatment should be as unique as your personal history. I don’t believe in a 'one-size-fits-all' model; instead, I blend the warmth of Person-Centered Therapy with the practical, evidence-based tools of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to meet you exactly where you are.

In practice, this means our sessions are a balanced mix of deep, empathetic listening and active skill-building. Whether you are navigating the persistent cycles of anxiety and depression, processing grief, or managing the daily toll of chronic pain, we will work together as a team to identify the patterns or obstacles holding you back.

I view you as the expert on your own life, and my role is to provide the professional framework to help you build a personalized toolkit. My approach is designed to be flexible; we can focus on grounding techniques for immediate relief, or dive deeper into processing complex emotions. Ultimately, my goal is to empower you with the strategies and perspective needed to move forward with newfound confidence, regardless of the challenges you are facing.

What you can expect from me

Our initial session is a specialized session known as an Intake. While the foundation of this session is building a therapeutic connection, it is also a structured opportunity for us to align on your needs and ensure you feel informed about the path forward. I strive to create an environment that is both professional and deeply validating—a space where you can speak openly and feel truly heard.

During the Intake process, we will focus on three key objectives:

  • Understanding Your Journey: We will discuss the specific challenges that brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain from our time together.
  • Contextual Overview: We will briefly explore your history and current circumstances. I recognize that sharing these details can be a lot to process, and we will move at a pace that respects your comfort level.
  • Navigating the Process: If you are new to therapy, I will take the time to explain what our sessions will look like, how the process works, and what you can expect from me as your counselor.

By the conclusion of this first session, my goal is for you to leave feeling understood and well-informed. You may feel the emotional weight of our discussion, but you will also have a clear understanding of our next steps and the confidence that you have a dedicated, professional ally in your corner.
