Great to meet you!

I am Arsalan Hamid, a dedicated and licensed board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) providing services in Florida. My mission is to support individuals on their journey to mental well-being, embracing the intrinsic beauty of the human mind with a gentle and holistic approach to care.

In my practice, I firmly believe that every person’s journey is unique. As such, I am committed to fostering a collaborative environment where we work together to achieve lasting results. Listening attentively to what you are experiencing, I endeavor to understand your challenges, aspirations, and desires for a better mental state.

Through this deep understanding, we collaboratively establish treatment goals that genuinely resonate with your personal journey. Your well-being remains at the heart of everything we do. I’m here to support you with personalized pathways, thoughtfully considered to align with your unique needs, preferences, and experiences. Together, we’ll work toward meaningful progress, one step at a time.

My approach to therapy

One of my greatest strengths is integrating evidence-based medication management with CBT principles in a practical, accessible way. I focus on helping clients understand why they feel the way they do and how small, realistic changes in thinking and behavior can support symptom improvement. My approach is collaborative, structured, and goal-oriented, with an emphasis on building skills clients can continue using beyond our appointments. I aim to provide care that not only reduces symptoms, but also empowers clients to feel more confident and in control of their mental health.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we’ll take time to understand your symptoms, history, goals, and what’s been working—or not working—for you so far. I’ll ask questions about your mood, stressors, thought patterns, and daily functioning to get a full picture of how things are impacting you. Together, we’ll discuss treatment options, including medication when appropriate, and I’ll begin introducing CBT-informed strategies you can start using right away. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, informed, and clear about next steps.
