Great to meet you!

Thank you for checking out my profile! I have been working in the mental health field for close to ten years. I have a masters degree in clinical social work from Virginia Commonwealth University and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I started my career providing grief counseling and support to those in end of life care, and in recent years have provided both inpatient and telehealth therapy to adults, children, and adolescents. I have experience treating those living with anxiety, depression, grief, life changes, and ADHD. I also provide a supportive, safe space for the LGBTQ+ community.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is to be client centered and strengths based. I believe every client has a story and positive attributes about themselves, and it is important to explore these in therapy. I also aim to be direct and encourage personal accountability, while also remaining compassionate and understanding.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients should expect education and background on the therapy process, as well as questions to help me further understand your experiences and goals.
