I specialize in working with people who have substance use disorders. I have worked with clients in all stages of their addiction treatment such as detox, inpatient and outpatient rehab, as well as sober living homes in NYC. I have also conducted multiple interventions to help clients enter inpatient treatment programs. My ambition is to help people recover and lead productive and fulfilling lives.
I work from a person-centered approach. It enables me to connect with an individual's experiences and perspectives in order to form a true alliance. We will focus on examining belief systems and thought processes to change behavior.
In our therapy sessions, you can expect to feel supported in a warm environment while we address your concerns, explore your goals and aspirations. Together, we will identify strategies and coping skills to manage substance use disorder, anxiety and depression. I can be an ally who provides empathy, validation and who helps you to identify your strengths and resources.
