Great to meet you!

My name is Artin Baghramian and I am a licensed clinical psychologist practicing in Atwater Village.

My training has taken me across a wide range of settings; a college campus, a community mental health clinic, an older adult clinic, and a forensic environment. I have also completed advanced postgraduate training in psychodynamic psychotherapy. Working across these contexts has shaped my ability to sit with people from all walks of life, whatever they are carrying.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, curious, nonjudgmental, collaborative, and straightforward. I specialize in helping individuals and couples across diverse life stages and backgrounds to offer support through struggles such as depression, anxiety, identity formation, life-transitions, trauma, shame, intimacy avoidance, and relationship issues. I work psychodynamically while also incorporating family systems and humanistic approaches.

What you can expect from me

We all carry baggage. For some, that weight becomes so heavy that relationships or careers begin to suffer. For others, everything may appear fine on the surface while they feel like they are drowning on the inside. In working with me, you will find a safe and confidential space to finally unburden yourself. While we’ll focus on managing your immediate symptoms, our work will also go deeper to uncover and address their root causes, creating lasting change. Together, we will explore and address the ongoing patterns that are holding you back and create meaningful change.
