Great to meet you!

I'm a licensed mental health provider that has been practicing for over 24 years. I completed my graduate training in 2000 at Florida International University and began practicing as a clinical psychotherapist. I am also a Board Certified Diplomate in my field which is a distinction that goes beyond state licensure.

My strengths are in the provision of mental health treatment to individuals of all ages that include children, adolescents, and adults.

My approach to therapy

My treatment approach is goal focused, supportive, empathic and respectful of the individual’s effort in recovering. The most important predictors of a good therapeutic outcome is the feeling that clients are in a partnership with me. I work hard to ensure a solid alliance with my clients and have had great success treating clients for over 24 years.

What you can expect from me

I strive to create a comfortable environment where you feel safe to be your true self as I challenge you and help you grow. The treatment I offer is designed to go deep to help my clients understand their underlying thought process in order to better understand how their thoughts affect their behavior. My accumulating insights have provided me with a true compass that allows me to approach each client with respect, purpose, and hopefulness.
