  • What to Expect in Telehealth Sessions Initial appointments include a thorough discussion of your history, current concerns, and goals, conducted through a secure video platform. Follow-up sessions focus on progress, symptom management, and treatment adjustments. Telehealth allows for consistent, convenient care without the need for travel. Medication Philosophy When appropriate, medication is used as part of a comprehensive treatment plan. I prioritize clear communication, shared decision-making, and careful monitoring of effectiveness and side effects. Your comfort and understanding of your treatment are always a priority. Confidentiality & Privacy All telehealth sessions are conducted through secure, HIPAA-compliant platforms to protect your privacy. Your information remains confidential, with exceptions required by law (such as risk of harm to self or others, or suspected abuse). Communication & Accessibility Clients receive guidance on how to communicate with me between sessions for non-urgent concerns, questions, or medication refills. Telehealth offers flexible access to care while maintaining professional boundaries and timely responses. For urgent mental health concerns or emergencies, please call 911 or seek immediate in-person care. Telehealth Requirements To ensure the best experience, clients should have:
    • A reliable internet connection
  • A private, quiet space for sessions
  • A device with video capability (phone, tablet, or computer)

Commitment to Care I am committed to providing compassionate, accessible, and effective mental health care through telehealth. My goal is to support you in building stability, resilience, and lasting improvements in your overall well-being—wherever you are.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, supportive working relationship. This initial visit is typically a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation conducted through a secure telehealth platform.

During this session, we will discuss your current concerns, symptoms, and what led you to seek care. I will also ask about your mental health history, medical background, medications, lifestyle, and any past treatments. This helps me gain a full understanding of your needs and experiences.

We will take time to explore your goals for treatment and what you hope to achieve. I encourage you to share openly and ask questions at any point—this is a collaborative process, and your input is important.

By the end of the session, we will review initial impressions and discuss a personalized treatment plan. This may include recommendations for medication (if appropriate), therapy, or additional support strategies. If medication is considered, I will explain options, benefits, and potential side effects so you can make an informed decision.

You can expect a respectful, nonjudgmental, and confidential environment where your concerns are taken seriously. My goal is to ensure you feel heard, supported, and comfortable moving forward with your care.
