My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is tailored to each individual and your input is integral. Throughout the process, I encourage feedback on what is working well or not working, and I expect that we’ll evolve over time on how to best approach your care. My therapy style is warm and compassionate with touches of humor, and I will provide honest feedback and challenge you when appropriate. Together, we will tap into your strengths and resilience, enhance positive coping, and uncover solutions for you to put into practice outside the therapy room.

What you can expect from me

In our first session we will take an overview of what brings you to therapy, review your current mental health symptoms, and discuss past experiences in therapy, if this applies. You can expect the first few sessions to be a directive getting to know you period, during which I'll ask questions, and we will prioritize your most pressing concerns.
