Great to meet you!

Are you constantly overthinking, feeling anxious, or carrying the emotional weight of past experiences? You may look like you're managing on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, lonely, emotionally exhausted, or disconnected from yourself. Perhaps you are struggling with anxiety, difficult emotions, relationship challenges, body image concerns, or patterns around food that feel difficult to change. Therapy can help you better understand these patterns, develop healthier ways of coping, and begin feeling more like yourself again.

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist providing compassionate, evidence-based tele-health therapy for adults throughout New York. I specialize in helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD-related challenges, relationship concerns, stress, and major life transitions.

Many of my clients are immigrants and individuals from diverse cultural, ethnic, and spiritual backgrounds. I understand that adapting to a new environment, balancing multiple cultures, managing family expectations, navigating relationships, and finding a sense of belonging can create unique emotional challenges. I strive to provide a safe, respectful, and culturally responsive space where you feel understood, accepted, and supported.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and interactive. I believe therapy is a partnership where we work together to understand your experiences, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop practical strategies to help you create meaningful change.

I utilize evidence-based treatment approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, trauma-informed therapy, EMDR, mindfulness-based approaches, and other individualized interventions. I tailor treatment to your unique needs, strengths, values, and goals rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.

Together, we will explore the thoughts, emotions, experiences, and behaviors that may be contributing to your struggles. We will focus on building healthier coping strategies, improving emotional regulation, strengthening relationships, and helping you move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.

What you can expect from me

In our sessions, you can expect a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where you can openly explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful changes.

My goal is to help you gain insight into yourself, strengthen your coping skills, improve relationships, and develop practical tools that support lasting emotional well-being. When appropriate, I provide strategies and skills to practice between sessions so that progress continues beyond our appointments.

I also have experience supporting individuals with concerns related to OCD, ADHD, eating concerns, grief and loss, sleep difficulties, women's issues, and other life challenges.

Whether you are struggling with anxiety, trauma, depression, relationship difficulties, cultural stress, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, therapy can provide the support and guidance needed to move forward.

I would be honored to support you on your journey toward greater self-understanding, resilience, balance, and emotional well-being.
