Great to meet you!

I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, women's issues, life transitions, and other challenges that can leave you feeling overwhelmed or unsure of how to move forward. My goal is to provide a space where you can be honest about what you're experiencing, better understand what's getting in the way, and develop practical tools to create meaningful change in your life.

As a U.S. Navy veteran, I bring a unique perspective on resilience, transition, identity, and navigating difficult seasons. My style is direct, compassionate, and down-to-earth. I believe you can be supported while also being challenged to grow, and I'll meet you with both honesty and genuine care. I'm also a mother and woman of faith, and I'm happy to incorporate faith into our work when it's meaningful to you.

My approach to therapy

I believe real change happens when you feel supported enough to be honest and empowered enough to take meaningful steps forward. Therapy with me is collaborative and practical. We'll look at what's contributing to the challenges you're facing, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and build on the strengths you already have.

I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing. Depending on your needs, our work may focus on managing anxiety or depression, processing difficult experiences, navigating transitions, strengthening relationships, building resilience, or creating healthier patterns in everyday life.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know one another and understand what you'd like support with. You don't need to have everything figured out or know exactly where to begin. We'll start with what's most important to you and develop goals that feel realistic and meaningful.

You can expect me to be honest, engaged, compassionate, and encouraging. I'll listen without judgment, ask thoughtful questions, and challenge you when it can help you grow. My goal is for you to leave therapy with greater clarity, confidence, and practical tools you can continue using long after our sessions.
