Ashanti is a Board Certified-Dance/Movement Therapist (BC-DMT), Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT), author, and founder of Asante Body Movement. She completed her Masters of Science at Sarah Lawrence College. Treatment approach is rooted in evidence-based practices that focus on body-mind connection and experience working with teens and adults at high-risk. She is inspired by the strength of her patients and wants to empower them to achieve their full potential.

My approach to therapy

As a dance/movement psychotherapist, I combine movement and somatic practices with dialectical behavioral therapy to help teens, adults, and couples go from surviving to thriving.
