Great to meet you!

I am informed by the Jungian and contemporary psychodynamic traditions as well as inspired by Buddhism and other wisdom traditions that can help us learn good ways to develop mindfulness, live life with meaning, have better relationships, and work more effectively with obstacles. I have many years experience with meditative and contemplative practices as well as engaging in my own psychoanalytic therapy, which has all been a strong foundation in my own life and in my practice with others.

My approach to therapy

As a contemplative and psychodynamically oriented psychotherapist, I can help you work through and understand the psychological themes and dynamics that repeat in your life and relationships and undo the ones that cause suffering and dysfunction. Our work together can also help you harness your own inherent wisdom, strength, and dignity to make the changes needed for more wellbeing and success in life so you can have healthier, more functional ways of being in the world and in relationships.

What you can expect from me

Working together, we can develop an understanding of the roots of your struggles and how to undo them to help you relieve symptoms associated with depression, anxiety, trauma, addictions, relationships, and other issues and find a path towards more wellbeing and fulfillment. Therapy can also help you to know yourself more deeply, both your strengths and your vulnerabilities, so that you can better work with your challenges and find a path towards self-actualization and a more full life.
