Great to meet you!

Maybe you’ve been holding things together for a long time. Maybe you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck. Perhaps you’re going through a change you never expected. Sometimes, you may not even know exactly what’s wrong; you just know that something needs to feel different. You don’t have to navigate it alone. My name is Ashlee, and I provide compassionate, person-centered therapy for adults who are navigating the challenges of life, relationships, identity, loss, and mental health. I provide LGBTQ+ affirming and culturally responsive care, creating a welcoming space where you can feel comfortable being fully yourself. Therapy doesn’t have to be about becoming a different person. It can be about understanding yourself more deeply, making space for what matters to you, and developing the confidence and tools to navigate life with greater resilience and self-compassion. It's a place where you can take a breath, be honest, and know that you’ll be met with understanding rather than judgment and pressure. You don’t need to have the right words or know exactly where to begin. We can start wherever you are.

My approach to therapy

I don’t believe therapy should be a one-size-fits-all experience. Every person brings a different history, perspective, culture, identity, and set of strengths into the room. I draw from evidence-based approaches while adapting our work to your individual needs, goals, values, and comfort level. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to you. You are the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you as you gain insight, work through challenges, and move toward the life you want to create. Together, we can explore the patterns and experiences that may be holding you back, develop practical coping skills, strengthen your sense of self, and identify meaningful steps forward.

What you can expect from me

People heal when they feel seen, heard, respected, and empowered. Life can be overwhelming. Sometimes, having a supportive and objective person beside you can make it easier to recognize patterns, reconnect with your strengths, process difficult experiences, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence. Therapy can be a place to begin making sense of what you’re experiencing and to discover that change is possible. If you’re ready to take that first step, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. My hope is that you leave each session feeling affirmed, understood, and more equipped to navigate whatever comes next.
