Great to meet you!

Hi and welcome! Searching for a therapist can be an uncomfortable task, so congrats on taking the first step to seeking help! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with 15+ years of experience ready to help you process and address areas of your life that are causing you pain: relationships, depression/anxiety, grief and loss, religious deconstruction, sexuality/gender, addictions, sexual abuse, and more. You will find me warm, accepting, affirming, and practical in my approach to different issues...because ALL of us need help and guidance at different times in our lives. I look forward to talking to you and seeing if we are a good fit for therapy!

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is based on really listening to my clients and seeing where they struggle in life; guiding them to take control of areas in their lives where they can, and helping them set boundaries and hold them as a daily practice. I am an Existentialist therapist; I believe everyone creates/discovers their own meaning in their lives, I just accompany them on part of the journey. I enjoy working with all types of clients from teens, young adults, older adults, and people in the LGBTQ+ community who are searching for an affirming therapist.

What you can expect from me

I provide a non-judgmental space to process feelings, issues, traumas, relationships. I am interested in exploring what is problematic in my clients' lives and challenging my clients to try new approaches/attitudes in dealing with their challenges, with a big focus on self-care and reflection. You will leave a session feeling supported, heard, and with steps to work on before next session.
