Great to meet you!
Ashlee is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner based in Winter Park, Florida, dedicated to helping individuals move through periods of overwhelm, burnout, anxiety, and disconnection toward greater clarity, balance, and control in their lives. She believes psychiatric care should be thoughtful, collaborative, and deeply human—not rushed or impersonal.
She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Central Florida’s Burnett Honors College and while her academic training provided a strong scientific foundation, her clinical experience has been what most profoundly shaped her approach to care.
She began her nursing career in high-acuity cardiac step-down and telemetry units, where she witnessed the powerful connection between emotional stress and physical health. This experience solidified her belief that mental and physical health are inseparable. She later spent over three years in substance use treatment, supporting individuals through addiction, trauma, relapse prevention, and recovery—work that deepened her respect for resilience and reinforced her belief that people are never defined by a diagnosis.
