Great to meet you!

Ashlee is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner based in Winter Park, Florida, dedicated to helping individuals move through periods of overwhelm, burnout, anxiety, and disconnection toward greater clarity, balance, and control in their lives. She believes psychiatric care should be thoughtful, collaborative, and deeply human—not rushed or impersonal.

She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Central Florida’s Burnett Honors College and while her academic training provided a strong scientific foundation, her clinical experience has been what most profoundly shaped her approach to care.

She began her nursing career in high-acuity cardiac step-down and telemetry units, where she witnessed the powerful connection between emotional stress and physical health. This experience solidified her belief that mental and physical health are inseparable. She later spent over three years in substance use treatment, supporting individuals through addiction, trauma, relapse prevention, and recovery—work that deepened her respect for resilience and reinforced her belief that people are never defined by a diagnosis.

My approach to therapy

Healing doesn’t require perfection. It starts with curiosity, compassion, and the right guidance. My role is to offer clinical expertise, structure, and a supportive space where we can work through challenges together at a pace that feels right for you.

I feel honored to care for individuals in my own community and look forward to supporting you on your path toward lasting mental wellness.

What you can expect from me

Ashlee specializes in treating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, trauma-related conditions, and substance use concerns. Her approach is comprehensive and individualized, grounded in understanding each person’s unique story, stressors, and goals before creating a treatment plan. She integrates evidence-based medication management when appropriate with practical, sustainable strategies that support long-term well-being, including sleep, stress regulation, behavior change, and lifestyle alignment.

She values transparency and shared decision-making, ensuring patients feel informed, supported, and actively involved in their care. Her focus is not only on symptom relief, but on helping individuals feel more steady, focused, and empowered in their daily lives.
