Ashleigh Barney

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience supporting adolescents, adults, older adults, veterans, couples, and families across hospital, residential, and community settings, including Mercy Home for Boys & Girls and Rush University Medical Center.

I graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana- Champaign with a Bachelors in Community Health. I received my Master of Social Work from University of Illinois Chicago. My work in social work and services spans over a decade of experience.

My approach integrates CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), mindfulness, and insight-oriented therapy to help clients understand patterns, strengthen relationships, and meet their emotional needs.

I bring a compassionate, direct, and collaborative style, creating a space where clients feel supported while also challenged to grow.
