Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I create a supportive and collaborative space where clients can feel seen, heard, and empowered to make meaningful change. With over 10 years of experience in community behavioral health, I specialize in trauma-informed and culturally responsive care, helping individuals navigate life transitions, emotional challenges, and the lasting impact of trauma.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, holistic, and practical. I believe healing begins with understanding your story — not just the struggles, but the strengths that have carried you this far. Together, we’ll identify patterns, build coping strategies, and develop tools that support emotional balance and personal growth.

Clients describe my style as warm, grounded, and collaborative. I tailor each session to meet your unique needs, integrating techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based practices. Whether you’re managing stress, anxiety, grief, or simply feeling stuck, my goal is to help you find clarity, confidence, and renewed purpose.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my focus is on getting to know you — your story, your goals, and what brings you to therapy at this time. We’ll spend time talking about what’s been going on in your life, what you’d like to work on, and what has or hasn’t worked for you in the past. This is also your chance to ask questions and get a sense of my style and how I work.

I take a collaborative and compassionate approach, so there’s no pressure to share everything at once. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Together, we’ll start identifying patterns, strengths, and areas for growth, and begin outlining a plan that supports your healing and personal goals.

My goal for the first session is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and hopeful — with a clearer sense of what our work together can look like and how therapy can support you moving forward.
