Hello all! I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). I began my nursing career in 2014 when I graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Rutger's University. From there, I did various bedside roles and ultimately found my passion in psychiatrics. This inspired me to go back for my Master's and ultimately earn my degree as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). As a PMHNP-BC, I am trained to assess, diagnose, and treat mental health conditions. While this does include medication management, I also like to include supportive psychotherapy as medication is not always the answer. I like to work collaboratively with my patients to ensure their goals and expectations still align with my recommendations.

My approach is one that is patient centered. Yes I am the provider but we are working together to treat you. Your voice matters, and I like to treat you as a person not just as a patient or diagnosis. I want to know what your goals, expectations, and values are in order to obtain the best possible outcome. I also always ensure I am using best evidence based practices.

I have a very patient centered approach when treating clients. I like to provide education, clarity, and insight into my patients' mental health in order to provide personalized treatment plans that work best for them. I also will provide a judgement free zone in order to allow clients to fully express themselves. This allows my patients to walk away from sessions feeling heard and empowered.
