Great to meet you!

You may look like you’re holding everything together on the outside while internally feeling anxious, emotionally exhausted, overwhelmed, reactive, or disconnected. Trauma and chronic stress can leave your nervous system stuck in survival mode, making it difficult to fully rest, feel safe, or stay present in your relationships and daily life. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensed in Arizona and Mississippi who specializes in helping adults heal from trauma, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and attachment wounds using EMDR, nervous system regulation, and attachment-focused therapy.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, attachment-focused, and centered on nervous system healing. I work collaboratively with adults to help them better understand the patterns, emotional responses, and survival strategies that developed through past experiences while building a greater sense of safety, connection, and stability in daily life.

I integrate EMDR, attachment-focused therapy, nervous system regulation, and somatic approaches to support healing from trauma, anxiety, chronic stress, and emotional overwhelm. Therapy is paced intentionally with a strong emphasis on safety, stabilization, and developing internal resources so clients do not feel rushed or retraumatized in the healing process.

Many of the people I work with feel stuck in cycles of anxiety, shutdown, people pleasing, emotional reactivity, or exhaustion from constantly trying to hold everything together. My goal is to provide a grounded and supportive space where clients can process past wounds, reconnect with themselves, and move toward a more regulated, connected, and fulfilling life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin creating a sense of safety, understanding, and connection. There is no pressure to share everything at once or revisit painful experiences before you feel ready. We will move at a pace that feels manageable and supportive for you.

During the session, we’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, the challenges or patterns you’ve been noticing, and what you’re hoping to gain from the process. I’ll ask questions to better understand your history, current stressors, relationships, and how anxiety, trauma, or chronic stress may be impacting your daily life and nervous system.

You can expect a collaborative, compassionate, and grounded approach focused on helping you feel heard, respected, and emotionally safe. By the end of the session, we’ll begin identifying goals, next steps, and practical tools to help you feel more stable, supported, and resourced as we move forward together.
