Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker with 10 years of experience as a therapist. I received my master's in social work from Bryn Mawr College and my experience spans community behavioral health, college counseling, and private practice settings. In additional to my foundation in psychodynamic and relational work, I've pursued training in somatic approaches and perinatal mental health.

My approach to therapy

My approach focuses on how our emotions live in our bodies, how we come to understand our pain, and how we can slowly begin to shift our relationship to that pain. This work has a ripple effect in our relationships with ourselves and others. I tailor my approach to each person and each session. My style is collaborative, attentive, warm, and honest.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I'll begin to learn about your history and catalysts for pursuing therapy. I know this session can be overwhelming and I'll take my cues from you and aways respect your capacity. If you feel comfortable, we can discuss any previous therapy experiences you've had and what did and didn't seem to help you so that we can use that information in our work together. If you are new to therapy, I will help you begin to imagine what this space could look like for you and what kinds of support you are seeking. I also try to leave room for discussion of any present concerns and stressors.
