Great to meet you!

Some days it feels like your own mind is working against you, and you are tired of pretending it isn't. I work with children, teens, adults, and older adults who are dealing with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, stress that will not let up, and relationships that feel harder than they should. I am very familiar with mental illness, and that familiarity helps me relate to what you are going through while remembering that everyone experiences their life differently. Getting to know you comes first. I build a strong relationship with each person I work with, because that is where the real work starts.

My approach to therapy

Together, we will work toward a clearer sense of who you are and more confidence in how you handle what life throws at you. If anxiety or depression has been running the show, we will figure out what is keeping it in place and build the skills and support you need to feel steadier day to day. If the ups and downs of bipolar disorder have made life feel unpredictable, we will work on understanding your patterns so you feel more in control. I bring everything I know and keep learning to each session, and I shape the support around what you actually need rather than a one size fits all plan. People who do well with me want someone who is genuine, compassionate, and empathetic, and who will not judge them for anything they bring into the room.

What you can expect from me

Our first session starts easy. We introduce ourselves, cover a few basics, and break the ice before I begin asking questions to understand your current situation and where you are struggling. You always control how much you share and when you feel comfortable sharing it. If you have been thinking about reaching out, I would genuinely like to hear from you. Let's start the conversation whenever you are ready.
