Great to meet you!

Howdy! I have worked in the social work field for over 3 and a half years. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I specialize in supporting individuals through challenges related to anxiety, depression, body image issues, and disordered eating. I approach therapy with a warm, validating, and supportive style, creating a safe space where you can feel heard and understood. My goal is to guide you in exploring the root causes of your struggles while challenging unhelpful mindsets and beliefs that may be holding you back.

My approach to therapy

I strive to have a warm and open approach to therapy, that fosters a safe and supportive environment where clients can feel comfortable in every aspect. I believe true healing comes from not only addressing symptoms but also understanding the underlying emotional and psychological factors that shape your behaviors. Together, we will work through the complex relationship between your thoughts, feelings, and actions, particularly as they relate to food, body image, and self-worth.

What you can expect from me

While I provide comfort and support, I also believe in challenging you to rethink negative patterns and develop healthier, more compassionate ways of relating to yourself. Through evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques, I aim to help you build confidence, improve emotional resilience, and cultivate a positive relationship with both your mind and body. Recovery is possible, and I’m here to walk alongside you every step of the way.
