Great to meet you!

With nearly a decade of experience in the mental health field, I have supported individuals navigating trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, severe mental illness, and complex life challenges. I began my career in community mental health providing therapy and crisis intervention, and for the past four years have provided outpatient therapy in private practice working exclusively with adults. I support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, burnout, and self-esteem concerns.

Seeking therapy is a courageous first step, and I am committed to helping you feel supported as you gain insight, develop coping skills, and work toward meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, affirming, and empowering. I believe therapy is a collaborative process where clients are the experts of their own experiences, and my role is to provide support, guidance, and tools to help them create meaningful change. I utilize evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and strengths-based interventions, while incorporating a trauma-informed and culturally responsive lens. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and supported as they build insight, develop coping strategies, strengthen resilience, and work toward their personal goals.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will focus on getting to know you, understanding what brings you to therapy, and exploring your goals for treatment. I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable sharing your experiences at your own pace. We will discuss your current challenges, strengths, and areas where you would like to see growth while beginning to identify strategies and tools that support your goals. Together, we will develop a treatment approach that is personalized to your needs and helps you build insight, coping skills, and confidence moving forward.
