Great to meet you!

As a licensed psychotherapist with a background in clinical social work from Fordham University, I provide a nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard and supported. I support clients navigating anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, stress, and challenges related to self-esteem or identity. I also have experience working with postpartum mental health and helping individuals maintain recovery from substance use disorders. My goal is for us to journey together, helping you build insight, develop practical tools, and feel more confident in managing your mental health. I tailor the therapeutic experience to your individual needs and goals.

My approach to therapy

When starting therapy, it can be tempting to skip to the part where we feel better, as if there were a blueprint for healing. In reality, the blueprint we are often searching for lives within us. My approach to therapy is to guide you in identifying what works for you along your healing journey. We will take a look at past experiences and how they impact your current reality, while also examining how your current reality contributes to your mental barriers. I specialize in working with children and adults of all backgrounds using various evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

What you can expect from me

You are the person who knows your own life best. With that in mind, our first meeting will be an introductory session. During this time, we will explore what brings you to therapy, some of your current challenges, and what you hope to work toward in your healing process. In following sessions, I will help you work through and reframe the psychological barriers we identify together. The key is to go at your own pace.
