Great to meet you!

Hi there—I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University. I work with adults facing a range of challenges, including anxiety, past trauma, relationship struggles, and substance use. My style is warm, supportive, and down-to-earth. I use tools from CBT, DBT, and other evidence-based approaches, but most importantly, I meet you where you are—no pressure, no judgment.

I believe therapy works best when it feels like a real, human connection. You don’t have to be in crisis to reach out, and you don’t have to have everything figured out to begin. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just trying to understand yourself better, I’m here to help you explore what’s going on and find new ways to cope and move forward.

On a personal note, I know what it’s like to go through hard seasons and come out the other side. That lived experience helps me show up with empathy and honesty. If you're looking for someone who will listen without judgment and walk with you as you work toward real, lasting change—I'm here.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and respect for your unique story. I believe that healing happens in a safe space—one where you feel heard, supported, and free to explore what’s really going on beneath the surface. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, working through past experiences, or simply trying to make sense of life’s challenges, I’m here to help you navigate it.

I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, and solution-focused techniques, but I always tailor our work to your needs and goals. Some days that might mean digging deep into emotions, and other days it may mean building practical skills to handle stress, improve communication, or find clarity in your decisions.

Therapy isn’t about having everything figured out—it’s about showing up as you are and finding support along the way. My role is to walk beside you with empathy, insight, and tools that help you create meaningful change in your life.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave sessions feeling heard, supported, and equipped with practical tools to navigate life’s challenges. I aim to create a space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions without judgment, gain insight into your patterns, and begin to make meaningful changes at a pace that feels right for you.

Whether we’re working on setting boundaries, managing stress, improving relationships, or building healthier coping skills, our time together will focus on what matters most to you. You can expect encouragement, honest reflection, and strategies that you can carry into your daily life. My hope is that each session helps you feel more grounded, more empowered, and more connected to who you are and where you want to go.
