Great to meet you!

Ashley Davenport is a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor with a strong foundation in clinical practice and a deep passion for helping individuals rediscover wholeness, healing, and emotional balance. She holds both a Master’s degree and a Specialist degree in Counselor Education, with a focused emphasis in play therapy—training that enriches her work with children, adolescents, teens, and adults.

Ashley is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a National Certified School Counselor (NCSC), reflecting her commitment to professional excellence, ethical practice, and continued growth in the counseling field.

With four years of experience serving youth, adolescents, and teens, Ashley has developed a keen understanding of the developmental, emotional, and behavioral needs across early and middle childhood. In 2025, she expanded her work to include adults, supporting individuals navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma responses, relationship stress, and identity exploration.

Her greatest mission is to help individuals feel seen, supported, and empowered—guiding them toward restoration, resilience, and the ability to become whole again.

My approach to therapy

Ashley practices as an eclectic counselor, meaning she does not limit herself to a single therapeutic modality. Instead, she thoughtfully tailors her approach to each client’s unique needs, integrating techniques from various evidence-based practices to ensure that therapy is flexible, individualized, and effective.

What you can expect from me

During the initial session, clients can expect a clear introduction to how therapy works. For those new to counseling, this includes an overview of the logistics and what the therapeutic process typically looks like. For returning clients or those familiar with therapy, a brief refresher will be provided to ensure everyone has a shared understanding of how sessions will progress.

Because services are delivered via telehealth, I will also review the expectations, structure, and guidelines specific to virtual sessions. This includes discussing confidentiality, the importance of a private and interruption-free environment on both ends, and how we ensure a safe, secure space even when not meeting in person.

Additionally, we will begin identifying your goals for treatment. These goals will guide the development of your treatment plan and help us shape a path forward that supports your needs and desired outcomes.
