Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Ashley, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 10 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families. My professional experience includes residential treatment, in-home services, community-based programs, and school settings. I have worked with individuals experiencing a variety of emotional, behavioral, and relational concerns.

My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, PTSD, grief, anger, emotional dysregulation, relationship concerns, parenting challenges (including parents struggling with managing ADHD & ASD (autism) Child development), self-esteem, and major life transitions. I also enjoy helping clients better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships, and break patterns that may no longer be serving them.

I believe therapy should be a place where you feel comfortable being your authentic self and supported as you work toward meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, relaxed, genuine, and client-centered. I believe you are the expert on your own life, so you help guide the pace and direction of our work together. My role is to listen, provide validation and support, offer therapeutic guidance, and help you develop practical tools that fit your life.

Sessions are conversational and collaborative. There is no expectation that you have everything figured out before you begin. Whether you need a space to vent, process difficult emotions, gain perspective, or work through a specific challenge, we can start wherever you are.

I incorporate mindfulness, creativity, self-expression, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and behaviors. I strive to create a space where you can laugh, cry, question, reflect, and be yourself without feeling judged.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. Together, we can identify the patterns, experiences, and triggers that may be keeping you stuck and develop healthier ways of responding.

Depending on your needs, our work may focus on building self-confidence, improving emotional regulation, strengthening communication and relationships, developing healthy boundaries, increasing self-awareness, or navigating life transitions.

I want you to leave therapy with a better understanding of yourself and greater confidence in your ability to handle life's challenges. You already have many of the tools and strengths you need; my goal is to help you recognize them, build on them, and learn how to use them in ways that support the life you want to create.
